Community Guidelines
NB1.ca is a respectful, inclusive space for all New Brunswickers.
How It Works
Our Mission
NB1.ca is a community-built civic platform connecting people, businesses, and organizations across all 15 counties of New Brunswick.
We believe New Brunswickers are stronger together. This platform gives every resident a place to share their voice, find local resources, and engage with their communities in both official languages.
Bilingual by Nature
New Brunswick is Canada's only officially bilingual province. NB1.ca honours that — built in both English and French. Use the FR/EN toggle at the top right to switch at any time.
Le Nouveau-Brunswick est la seule province officiellement bilingue du Canada.
Who Runs This?
NB1.ca is an independent, locally run platform — not affiliated with any government, political party, or corporation.

New Brunswick has two parallel public school systems — one English (Anglophone) and one French (Francophone). They are entirely separate systems with their own school districts, curricula, and administration. Families choose which system to enroll their children in based on language. There are 4 Anglophone districts and 3 Francophone districts covering all 15 counties.
